That One Piece of Art That’s Never Complete…

You can look at it closely and from far away. You can let the piece simmer in your brain for days, weeks or months. You don’t feel like the art you created is finished, but you also don’t know what you could add or take away to possibly complete it.

It’s that itch you can’t scratch.

This is my itch.

It’s an imagined mountain view that I created out of the longing I feel for BC after coming back from my trip. The beauty of BC has a way of giving you a mild depression when you arrive back home.

I love this image on it’s own, however I can also imagine a dozen things that I could add! What about a large swooping bald eagle? Or a small, run down wooden fence for character? Or some deer in the distance? Or more trees? Or less trees?

Or will all those things ruin it?

It’s likely that you can relate.

Ah, the joys of endless creativity!
