My grandparents enrolled me in my first oil painting class when I was 6 years old. Creativity is the essence of my being and they knew I would benefit from artistic instruction. I continued to take these weekly classes for a couple years in addition to painting and crafting on my own time. I never stopped being creative, but I did stop oil painting until a couple years ago. As an artist I am still trying to find where I fit into the creative world; I’m always experimenting with a variety of mediums and techniques.
My love for creative writing blossomed in 12b. I graduated high school in the summer of 2011 and knew I was going to postsecondary, but I didn’t know what subject to major in yet. I finally decided to take a year off and go back to high school for a semester while I decided what I wanted to pursue. During this semester, I took a Writer’s Craft course and discovered how much I love writing.
This Writer’s Craft course is what made me decide to study languages in University. I am now fulfilling the requirements for my degree in languages as well as taking every art class that I can as electives.
I hope you find equal enjoyment in viewing my art as I do creating it!
